When you want to pick a bike it is important to know what you will be using your bike for. If you need a bike to go to work every day and run mundane errands like getting a library book or sending some letters at the post office, you will be looking for a road bike. Road bikes can be quite speedy, they are light and will take you long-distance without much effort. On the downside, they are somewhat a pressure on your back because you have to lean forward to operate them. And of course trying to use a road bike in the country side or simply off-road would be endangering the bike and its owner.

For rough routine and some serious exploring you will better opt for a mountain bike. Mountain bikes are not so fast, but they are sturdier, last longer and are somewhat more comfortable with more support for the rider’s back. So if you want to get out into the wild go for the mountain bike. There is another type of bike, which combines the best of the two worlds, and it’s a hybrid bike, which is comfortable, speedy and light. So decide which type is best for you and come here to share your thoughts.
